The Fertility Hijama Course is a specialist training programme for practitioners who want to support women on their fertility journey using targeted Hijama protocols. Fertility Hijama has a long history in Islamic medicine — classical texts reference cupping for menstrual irregularity, pelvic congestion, and reproductive concerns — and this course brings that tradition into a modern clinical framework, grounded in reproductive anatomy, the hormonal cycle, and evidence-informed practice. This is not a general body Hijama course with a fertility module added on. It is a dedicated specialist programme that teaches you the specific anatomy of the female reproductive system, the hormonal cycle and how it governs treatment timing, the pelvic circulatory and lymphatic systems, and the targeted point protocols used to support reproductive health. You will learn why timing is critical in Fertility Hijama — why the treatment must be performed in the follicular phase (before ovulation) and why the luteal phase is a contraindication. You will learn how to work sensitively and knowledgeably with clients who are trying to conceive, undergoing IVF, managing PCOS, or dealing with irregular cycles, hormonal imbalance, or unexplained infertility. You will study the anatomy of the uterus, ovaries, and pelvic region in the depth required to understand how Hijama supports uterine circulation, lymphatic drainage, and nervous system regulation in the pelvic region. You will learn how to take a reproductive health consultation, screen for contraindications specific to fertility treatment, and communicate appropriately with clients who may be emotionally vulnerable. Supervised case studies with written feedback and ongoing mentorship are included. CMA accredited.
Reproductive anatomy in depth — the uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes, and pelvic floor; blood supply to the reproductive organs (uterine arteries, ovarian arteries); pelvic lymphatic drainage pathways; sacral nerve roots and their supply to the reproductive organs
The female hormonal cycle — the four phases (menstruation, follicular, ovulation, luteal); the hormones involved (FSH, LH, oestrogen, progesterone); how the cycle governs follicle development, ovulation, endometrial thickening, and implantation
Why timing is critical — why Fertility Hijama must be performed in the follicular phase (after menstruation, before ovulation); why the luteal phase is a contraindication; how to track the cycle and identify the correct treatment window
Fertility Hijama point protocols — the lower back, sacral, and pelvic points used in Fertility Hijama; the anatomical basis for each point; how point selection is adapted for different presentations (PCOS, irregular cycles, poor pelvic circulation, IVF preparation)
Conditions relevant to fertility — PCOS, endometriosis, irregular cycles, anovulation, thin endometrium, poor pelvic circulation, hormonal imbalance, and unexplained infertility; how each condition affects treatment decisions
IVF preparation — how to time Fertility Hijama in the months before an IVF cycle; what to avoid during the stimulation and transfer phases; how to communicate with the client's fertility clinic
